New floor installation, done in the order that makes floors last: subfloor prepared and leveled first, material acclimated to the home, then installed with the right method for what it is — nailed, glued or floated — with clean transitions and trim to finish.
Our Process
Measure & Quote
We measure the rooms properly, talk through the material options for how the space is actually used, and give you a written quote that lists the work.
Prepare the Subfloor
The old covering comes up and the subfloor is checked, cleaned and leveled. A new floor is only as good as what it sits on — this step is where flat, quiet floors are made.
Acclimate the Material
Wood and wood-based flooring needs time in the home before it goes down, so boards settle to the room's humidity instead of moving after installation.
Install
The floor goes down with the right method for the material — nailed, glued or floated — with expansion gaps, straight lines and clean transitions at every doorway.
Trim, Clean Up & Walk-Through
Baseboards and transitions are fitted, the space is cleaned, and we walk the finished floor with you before we call it done.
A Clear Written Quote
Tell Fuentes Flooring about your rooms and we'll come look at the actual floor, then send a written quote that lists the work — prep, repairs, material and finish.
